The JHS Concert Band is directed by Mr. Kurtz and meets during 3rd period every day. Throughout the school year, students further develop their understanding of music and fundamentals on their instrument through preparation of grade 2-4 band literature. Students from all grade levels are eligible to audition to earn a spot in this ensemble. All performances are listed on the calendar to the right.
Note: the calendar includes dates & times for everything that goes on in the band program. Auditions for this ensemble take place during 2nd semester of every school year. Students who audition for this ensemble will know their results BEFORE the end of that school year. |
